Just to let you know that we are taking part in the LTA Play Your Way To Wimbledon Junior competition   again this year.  Our internal competition will be on Sunday 18th May.  

There are categories for Under 14 Singles and Under 18 Doubles and there will be separate competitions for boys and girls.  Everyone will play multiple matches regardless of whether they win or lose.  It should be an fun day of tennis playing against friends and team mates and there will be a lunchtime barbecue.  Timings will depend on the number of entrants.

The Under 14 Singles competition is for children born in 2011 - 2014.  

The Under 18 Doubles is for children born in 2007 - 2014.

Please add names to the sign up sheets on the junior notice board in the foyer of the clubhouse or reply to this email if your son or daughter would like to play.  Please note that only current members are eligible.

Results will count towards WTN (Word Tennis Number) and the winners, and possibly runners up, of the Grove internal events will go through to the Essex county finals later in the summer.  Winners of this play in the National Finals at Wimbledon
