Following the Prime Minister's announcement on 4th January of a new nationwide lockdown, the courts are now closed until further notice.

The LTA believes that tennis is a naturally socially distant sport that does not contribute to the spread of COVID-19 in any significant way, and so it can play a role in helping to safely maintain the health and wellbeing of the nation under coronavirus restrictions. It will continue to make this case in its discussions with national Government, to ensure that tennis is able to resume as soon as possible.

Whilst tennis courts are closed, the LTA has a dedicated online hub Tennis at Home Hub which includes support and advice to keep active, healthy and entertained at home. This includes fitness, physio and yoga programmes to support your physical and mental wellbeing
