The proposed redevelopment of the tennis court area at Harling Recreation Ground into a multi-use games area with adult gym equipment is taking shape and much of the required funding has been secured. However the help of the local community is needed to plug the current funding shortfall and lift the project off the ground. The SportsPark is now campaigning in Tesco Thetford's 'Bags of Help' appeal until the end of June and needs as many tokens as possible to get the maximum value of funding available. The tokens are available at the checkouts so please grab these at the end of your shop and put them in the corresponding box to help kickstart a development which the whole community can enjoy. Additionally, a crowdfunding page has been launched at www.chuffed.org/project/harlingsportspark where local businesses and individuals can help by pledging donations in return for certain perks and special offers.  Please visit both the Tesco Thetford and Crowdfunding website if you are able in order to help launch the project as soon as possible.
