Club Re-opens

We are delighted to tell you that the courts have reopened from 14 May 2020 for restricted play.

We are complying with government/LTA guidelines and a risk assessment has been completed.

 

We would urge you to remember that this is NOT A RETURN TO NORMAL PLAY and to read the information  in the LTA Guidelines for Tennis Players before returning to the courts.

 

*  singles play is allowed for people from different households

*  doubles play is allowed for people from same household

*  spectators to be discouraged and only allowed if parent/carer of player

*  All players to comply with government guidelines regarding health, travel, social distancing and hygiene

 

*  The Clubhouse remains closed to all players

*  Players are advised to bring their own first aid kits.  First Aid materials from clubhouse will be available on court in a container tied to bench.  Please let us know if these items need

    replenishing or replacing.

   Guidance on delivering first aid during the coronavirus pandemic is available on the St John Ambulance website 

*  Nets will be left down and winder for court 2 kept in container tied to bench.  Players are advised to wear gloves when winding nets.

*  Players to bring own hand sanitiser, wipes and gloves.  Please wipe clean the padlock and gate handle before entering court and when leaving.

*  Benches are out of bounds and not to be touched.

*  Players to bring own equipment, including rackets and marked balls which must not be touched by players not from your household (see attached document)

*  Courts must be booked by Members online using the booking section of this website so please register if you haven't already done so.

*  Courts to be used by members only for the time being but new members are welcome and can apply online.

*  One to one coaching to be started as soon as possible.
