What can you expect?
At the Yellow stage, children are now playing on a full size court with the balls the professionals use. Children will continue to explore different game styles and start to find their own. They will evolve through well-rounded motor skills development whilst improving their physical capacities. By this stage, children will be tennis fans for life!
Notes from the coach
This yellow ball group is suitable for juniors 11+ and teens looking to develop their confidence with yellow ball in a fun, inclusive and engaging environment. They will be taught technical skills on the forehand, backhand, volleys and serve whilst also learning stroke intentions. Our yellow ball programme is an exciting stage where players begin to develop their own style of play and noticeable technical skill and tactical awareness. The social benefit to playing tennis at this stage can equally be vital for teens as they can gain more confidence in themselves around their peers and can socially interact on the tennis court. By the end of the course, tennis will hopefully become a game for life!
