New Head Coach

Hi As you may know, Chris Bint, our former Head Coach has now headed out on his travels. Everyone at HTTC wishes him all the very best on his travels.

Replacing Chris was never going to be easy. However, we believe that we have found the right person. His name is Tom Hall, who is an experienced level 4 coach, like Chris, and who has recently been working in Nottingham and also at Ashby Castle TC. Tom will be delivering a very similar coaching programme to the current one. Also the cost of coaching will remain the same - you will be hard pushed to find better value elsewhere.

Coaching will restart with the adult sessions on MONDAY 7th JANUARY..
Junior coaching will continue to be for members only, the sole exception being newcomers, who may play on a pay as you go basis during their first half term. As before, juniors will pay for coaching half termly in advance. The first half term of 2019 is six weeks long, so you can calculate the amount payable to the Head Coach in the week beginning 7th January, depending on the number of sessions to be attended weekly. If a session does not take place (usually due to bad weather), you will be compensated with a free session in the following half term. If weather is threatening to make play impossible, then updates will appear on the club's Facebook website, so please check there.

Tom will be available to provide individual coaching for both juniors and adults. Please contact him on 07971931162. We are aware that in 2018 it took 2 coaches (Chris and Jack) to meet the demand for individual lessons, so we are planning to provide extra cover in this area if demand continues.
We trust that all members will make Tom welcome and help him settle in.
Happy New Year!
John and Jude

Message from Tom:

' Hello HTTC members,

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tom Hall and I will be taking over as the Head Coach at Hinckley. I'm a Level 4 Senior Performance Coach and have been coaching for 15 years in schools and clubs in the Midlands; primarily Ashby Tennis Club.

The programme will largely stay the same as John mentioned but there are a couple of small changes that can be seen on the attachment to the email.

I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and am going to try my best to talk to everyone but please come over and say hello if you see me around. Hopefully I will see you at your normal sessions and get to know you better but until then, have a fantastic New Year.

Tom'
