Tier 3 - Open to all - These players might only train with us once a week in any of T3 lessons, after school clubs, curriculum time tennis, LTA Youth categories. They may have coaching from any of the TA team and drop in and out of lessons. They are looking to enjoy tennis as a fun activity, socialising with friends and/or getting fit. Enjoyment will be a key part of this tier as we will talent spot from these lessons and recommend to tier 2. Promotion to Tier 2 by recommendation of tier 1/2/3 coaches.

Tier 2 - Invite only - This will be The Tennis Academies 2nd tier of the programme. Most of these players will train twice a week, once or twice on our external programme but school squads will count if they do them. They may have coaching from any of our team. They will show desire to improve their game, compete in internal tournaments, occasionally play for TA teams and aim to get to tier 1. Promotion to Tier 1 only by agreement of Tier 1 coach.

Tier 1 - Invite only - This is the top tier of tennis at the Tennis Academy, it replaces the 'returning players' / 'squad coaching' categories. Those who play at least twice a week on our external programme, have a dedicated coach who they may also do 1-2-1s with, show a desire, commitment to improving there game. Regularly compete in internal / external matches & match plays, including TA teams, play an external competition at least once a month. Only these players will be eligible for Tier 1. Promotion to Tier 1 is only granted by the agreement of either the Head Coach or Academy Director.
