Covid-19 Local Guidance (Updated 12/09/20)

We are pleased to be able to update you on our ability to futher open the courts and facilities at the club under clear rules and guidance set by the LTA. Click here to view the LTA guidance and advice so that you have all the information.

As instructed by the LTA the committee has completed our local risk assessment on Saturday May 16th.

We must comply with the broader government guidance on social distancing. We must also point out that our local policies, and the LTA guidance may need to be able to be changed again should government policy change, so we are trying to be flexible and accommodating while supporting government policy and the desire to open up our facilities as much as possible. It is hugely important that members comply with guidance in order that we can keep the courts open.

Local Update 24/09/20:

YOU MUST SCAN THE NHS TRACK AND TRACE QR CODE ON YOUR MOBILE APP OR FILL IN THE ATTENDANCE BOOK ON THE CLUBHOUSE TABLE BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Please ensure that social distancing is adheard to at all times during these sessions.

We re-opened the clubhouse from 09:00 Saturday 4th July and are allowing members access to the toilet facilities. To make this safe we need all members to be careful and hygienic in their use of the toilets, and we have doubled the frequency of our clubhouse cleaning to help us minimise risk. We have put plenty of paper towels and so on in the toilets – so please do try to leave the toilets clean.

We are keeping the kitchen closed for now, as it provides a level of contamination and transmission risk for COVID-19 that we think is unnecessary as we have the water tap on the clubhouse wall now. We will be taping off the kitchen area and we request that everyone respects this.

We have resumed the following organised activities at the club:

Club sessions on on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 2pm. (ATTENDANCE RESTRICTED TO 16 PEOPLE)

Ladies sessions on Mondays 10am - 1pm and Fridays 1pm-3pm

Team practice (ladies' and men's)

Junior and 121 coaching

Rusty rackets

Team matches, as agreed by the leagues (no match tea allowed)

Please ensure that social distancing is adheard to at all times during these sessions.

Club balls are now also available for general use. These are loacted in the tennis ball hoppers in the clubhouse. Please ensure that any balls taken are put back after use.
