We hope you have kept safe and well during this latest lockdown and are as excited as us about getting back to tennis in 2021.
The Tennis Club outdoor courts will reopen for member use on Monday 29th March at 9am as per government and LTA guidelines.
Phase one of our return to tennis 29th March – 11th April 2021
Club Membership
We would like to thank all our club members for their continued support. During the times of lockdown in 2020 and 2021 the club extended memberships by 4 months
If you pay by direct debit you will be contacted this week individually to advise how this will affect your upcoming payments.
Member activities
A ‘Return to Tennis’ program of one-off activities, exclusively for members, will begin the week of the 29th of March. These will need to be booked via the website and include a variety of activities. Details of each weekly activity will follow .
Outdoor court bookings (without floodlights) (Clubhouse and toilet facilities closed)
All outdoor courts will be bookable my members from Monday 22nd March as per our normal booking rights. Access to the courts will be via the side gate only. Courts will be able to be booked during daylight hours.
The side gate access code is provided on the booking page at the time of the booking confirmation. We ask that this is not shared.
As per the LTA guidelines, players are to arrive changed and ready to play.
Indoor Courts
Indoor tennis courts remain closed until further notice. We await further confirmed government guidelines re opening these and will update you as soon as we know more.
Adult Club Sessions
Adult club sessions will return to the outside courts from Monday 29th March.
Seessions will include Monday and Wednesday evening, Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
These will need to be booked in advance and the rule of 6 will apply.
You will be able to book via the website from Monday 22nd March.
Adult Group Coaching
Pay and Play adult coaching groups will return to the program.
They will become available to book via the website from Monday 22nd March.
All adult coaching must take place outside and will follow LTA guidelines.
Junior Coaching
Our junior coaching program will re start on Monday 29th March and this will take place outside until further notice.
If you are a player in the coaching program that paid for the most recent 7 week block, 5 weeks of coaching still remain.
If there are any changes these will be communicated separately.
Specific guidelines will follow to those in our coaching program.
