After a fantastic summer season, we’re delighted to confirm promotion for both our mens 1st and 4th teams. 

Our mens 1st team overtook local rivals Wickwoods to claim the final promotion spot from division 2 and will be playing in Sussex division 1 next season for the first time in the clubs history. This is a phenomenal achievement from playing in division 7 just a decade ago! It means we’ll compete with the best 6 teams in Sussex for the county title next summer, a huge achievement for our small village club which we’re all very proud of.  A massive well done to Timmy Gedin, Ben Poate, Rhys Brewer, Toby Lott, Jonny Goodall, Sam Wotton, Dave Floud and young Will Lott (14) who all played their part this season for our 1st team.

Our men’s 2nd team held their own in division 4, while our men’s 3rd team stayed safe in division 9.

Our new men’s 4th team led by Richard Payne also had a brilliant season to win promotion from division 13. Congratulations to Richard Payne, Seb Bailey, James Holloway, Michael Courtier, Ed Johnson, Simon Newman, James Wicker and Andy Warren who did the business for our 4th team.

Team tennis at the club is thriving as we head into the new winter season. Our mens team practice night is on Tuesdays under the floodlights (6pm to 9pm). 

Across our 4 teams we cater for a range of standards and always welcome new players.
