Our Committee are all adult volunteers and they carry out the management, administration and maintenance of the Club.

The following apply when members volunteer to join the Committee :

  • Initial briefing from the Chairman, as may be necessary
  • Handover from the previous incumbent, if applicable and where possible
  • Familiarisation with their role description
  • Request to read all Club policies, especially Safeguarding and those that may relate specifically to their role

There are no Junior volunteer roles on the Committee.

Periodically, we may ask for volunteers to support the Committee in a particular activity. In these cases, there will be a Committee member present who shall be responsible for the assessment of any risks of the tasks being undertaken, discussing the tasks and risks with the volunteers as appropriate, and ensuring that adequate support is available where applicable.
