Update on new Irvine tennis courts resurfacing:

Hi everyone, the courts are currently being resurfaced and will hopefully be ready for play around late July 2023 (not confirmed). The surface will be bitmac - which is a tarmac like surface. The courts will also be painted.

It is still hoped that we will convert to astroturf next year - funding allowing!

The floodlights will also hopefully be installed late Autum 2023 as well (funding allowing).

There will also be 2 smaller - red ball - type courts, whcih will be free to play on. Red or orange balls will be better to use on these courts with smaller rackets if you don't have any pickle-ball equipment.
