Andy Fryatt, our Club Coach represented Berkshire in the Over 35s County Cup Week (12th-14th August)  which is played on the prestigous grass courts at Eastbourne's Devonshire Park. The Over 35s County Cup gives men’s and ladies players around Britain the opportunity to represent their county in a one-off summer event. The 44 counties are placed in 22 groups in order of the previous year’s results with Group 1 being the Premier League.   

Played during searing heat where shade and a sea breeze was non-existent, the team lost their first match against North Scotland but managed a win against Bedfordshire the next day. On the final day Oxfordshire got the better of Berkshire but the team managed to stay in Divsion 3.
