What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
INDOORS AT HENFIELD LEISURE CENTRE. FOAM BALLS. Red Stage (Age 6-8) This looks a bit more like the tennis you know; overarm serves, rallies, scoring. Kids can use their new knowledge to play in competitions as teams or individuals. It’s still soft balls and small courts but they’re learning everything they’ll need for the game ahead. In the event of bad weather and/or the courts being unsafe to play we reserve the right to cancel any session and will, where possible, give as much notice as possible by email registered to the booking.
