What a gorgeous morning at our club today. 

We had all kinds of weather to accompany all kinds of tennis being played at the annual adult and child competition. 

Head coach Finn organises this fun event to bring club members closer together (50 of us on court at one point!) but also to raise funds for tennis4rad which is a charity focused on raising awareness about dementia. 

The parent child combos battled the weather producing some fantastic tennis. Cries of ‘how do you finish a point with a sponge ball?’ Could be heard on several courts along with ‘c’mon mum- play harder!’ 

Most pairs played over 8 matches throughout the morning with the top pairs moving onto the knockout stages. A bbq was enjoyed for all afterwards. 
 

Thank you to all the players, supporters and helpers. Lovely to see so many new faces from our membership. Some brilliant players hiding in our club!
