On a sunny evening at SWANAGE TENNIS CLUB 14&U girls and boys descended ove rthe courts to battle for the county stages of the ROAD TO WIMBLEDON challenge. 

As the players warmed up in anticipation for the next couple of hours to see how they would fair against like minded friends. All players worked and fought valiantly to get every point, game and set.

 Players were showing grit and determination to win and get every ball back to force there opponents error. For some they were too good and showing exceptional skill to defend and attack to become eventual winners. It has to be said at this point that all the players coming on court were winners in my eyes and showed bravery and courage. Not only that but helping eachther and ensuring that the game was played in the most professional and fun manner. It was a joy to watch. Well done eveyone!!

After two hard fought tournaments, we had two evental tournament winners and well deserved they were too.

Maisie fighting hard to push her about the cuort and making evey shot count. Consistency prevailed and a worthy WINNER proceeds onto the next phase. 

Ollie our eventual boys WINNER showed great great tacticla understanding and consistency to move his opponent around the court to force the vital that provided a vital WIN and to the next stage of the tournament. 

Well done to all of those taking part and giving your all. We wish Maisie and Ollie the very best in the next stage. Have FUN, ENJOY IT and let the result take care of itself.
