Ladies A travelled to Ludlow Castle on 29th October.

Gill Hames and Jo Clark teamed up to play as first pair and won their first rubber 6-1, 7-5. Charlotte Bradford and Charlotte Underwood also won their first rubber 7-5, 6-2. With Kempsey taking the lead we were keen to secure the final rubbers.  Charlotte and Charlotte were beaten 3-6, 3-6 by Ludlow Castle first pair but Jo and Gill secured a team win with a 6-3, 6-3 win over the second pair.

The final score of 3-1 was a great result as the the last time Ladies A beat Ludlow Castle was back in 14/15, with Ludlow running out 1-3 winners for the past two winters.

The next Ladies A match is away at Woolhope on Sunday 12th November.
