The ladies started the summer season with wins for their first two matches taking them to top position in division 4. 

On Monday 20th May at Ombersley, Charlotte B and Kate and Doz and Lynn won their first rubbers in two sets giving us a 2 -1 lead. Doz and Lynn also won their second rubber and with Jo and Gill beating Ombersley’s second pair the final score was 4 - 2. A great start to the season.

Sunday 2nd June the team travelled to Bewdley. Fortunately the heavy rain had ceased by the time we arrived!

All three pairs were successful in winning their first rubbers which put us in a good position. Jo and Lynn continued this success by beating Bewdley’s second pair in two sets. Doz and Katie were unlucky to lose their second match.

Charlotte U and Kate’s final match went to another 3 set one which they narrowly lost in the last set. An enjoyable afternoon of tennis with another 4 - 2 win for the team.

The next match is at home against Hallow on 7th July.
