Kempsey Tennis Club have provided used tennis balls that are used as part of Christmas boxes that are sent to thousands of children all over the world.

Our used tennis balls have made their way into boxes that are filled with items such as hats, scarves, gloves, small toys, toiletries, crayons, pens, colouring books and wrapped sweets, helping to bring joy to children in poor countries at Christmas time.

425 shoe boxes have been sent to needy children and families in countries in Eastern Europe and Africa through the Teams 4U Shoebox Appeal. Upton upon Severn residents, traders, churches and local organisations provided knitted or crochet items, toys, stationery items, toiletries and many other goodies including tennis balls from Kempsey to enable 425 shoe boxes to be filled.
