Men's A ticked off their first fixture of the season with a win over Droitwich D.

Opening their season on Friday 3rd May, the team were pushed in the first round of matches by a handy Droitwich side.  Barmby and Bradford won their first rubber 6-4, 6-0, whilst Borton and Roberts came through a second set tie break to win theirs 6-3, 7-6. Despite levelling their match at a set all, Lacey and Packer went down fighting, losing their first rubber with a final set loss of 5-7. 

The second round of matches saw Barmby and Bradford come through 6-3, 6-2 and Borton and Roberts 6-2, 6-3. With time under the Droitwich lights running out, Lacey and Packer another rubber for the team, coming through 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 and securing 12 points from 14 for the team.
