Men's A got off to a slow start in the first matches of the summer season.

The first match on 22nd April saw a depleted team take on David Lloyd Dudley, who also gained promotion last season. In some closely fought matches, the team of Borton & Bradford, Lacey & Roberts, Scorer & Hirst and fell to a 1-5 loss. Borton and Bradford won their second match but failed to convert match points in their first and Hirst and Scorer were unlucky not to get more from a 4-6, 5-7 defeat.

In the second match of the season Men's A bounced back a little, with a winning draw over Cutnall Green B. Again missing key players, Barmby & Bradford won both of their rubbers, with a tight 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 win in their first match, whilst Lacey and Packer lost their first in three sets before winning their second 6-2, 6-1. Cuthbertson and Cole, playing up from the B team,  were unlucky not to win their second match, losing 3-6 in the third set.

The next A team game is away at Bewdley on 9th May.
