Membership Conditions

KINGS LTC MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To ensure our club runs smoothly, we ask all our members to read our Terms & Conditions, and to be friendly and helpful to members of all ages.

ALL MEMBERS:

1.         must exercise care and consideration for others in their use of the Club's facilities, including leaving the courts and clubhouse tidy.

2.         are required to adhere to the Club's Safeguarding policy, related procedures, statements, and Codes of Conduct including that relating to Changing Rooms. Please see the Safeguarding section within Club Documents.

3.         should follow Tennis Protocol by:

  • closing gates as you move between courts and wait until at least a point is finished, or you are waved through, before crossing at the back of a court.
  • using appropriate equipment and wearing suitable clothing and tennis shoes on court; anyone not wearing proper footwear will be asked to leave.
  • not taking scooters or bicycles on court.

4.         should take extra care if you decide to play in wet/icy conditions and take suitable precautions in hot weather. (See Sun & Hot Weather Statement in Club Documents)

5.         are responsible for the security of the Club and must not leave without ensuring that the alarm is set and the Clubhouse is locked if you have a key, or that another member will be responsible for this.  When locking up please ensure that ALL doors and windows are locked, including kitchen and patio doors.

6.         should not leave the gates to the Club open and must not give out details of the Club's security codes to non-members.

7.         are welcome to bring non-members to play as guests up to a maximum of 6 visits per guest per year. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that visitors' fees are paid into the Visitors Fees box in the clubhouse. The current visitor's fee is £5 per person per session (£1.50 for visitors aged under 18).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Membership subscriptions depend on the age of the person on 1 April.
  • Your membership will be discontinued if you have not paid by 30 April.
  • The membership fee is negotiable in the event of prolonged injury or illness.  Please contact membership@kingstennis.co.uk if this applies to you.
