GEORGE COPPLESTONE

ASSISTANT COACH

LTA Level 1

George has recently gained the LTA Level 1 assistant coach qualification. Prior to this he spent the summer volunteering on the coaching programme here at Kingsley assisting with youth stages red and orange. George is growing in confidence and character every time we see him on court and we are looking forward to seeing him develop further as he now joins the coaching team at the centre as an assistant coach.

George has been a member of Kingsley for 4 years and has been a part of our performance programme for most of this time. He is one of the top players in the county for his age group and has represented Hampshire & IOW in county matches. George earnt a tennis scholarship to study at Sherfield school from this September where he is now studying for his A-levels and will continue his tennis.

We believe George can be a great role model for the current juniors in our coaching programme, his progress and achievements of late really show what hard work can do and we hope that this can inspire our current and future juniors!
