We are a six-court tennis club (plus 2 mini tennis courts!) in the heart of the Lady Bay community. We believe our location and ethos helps generate a real family and community atmosphere within the club, with a significant focus on getting children into the game. The club also provides an after-school club service for the local Lady Bay primary school and regularly hosts birthday parties for children associated with the club.

We are proud to offer a comprehensive coaching setup for all ages and abilities, led by our in-house head coach Pete Godber. This is improving increasingly popular and we are generating some top talent!

To provide a good range of competitive tennis to its members, the club also enters a range of teams into the Nottinghamshire leagues. We currently have 3 men’s teams, 4 ladies’ teams and 2 mixed teams entered in both summer and winter leagues, so there is no excuse not to compete whatever the standard…or time of year!

The club is also very proud of the performance players it consistently develops, with both a men’s and ladies team competing in the National Midlands League, and on occasion winning through to the National finals.

And did we forget to mention that we are situated right next to the Poppy and Pint pub! What better way to refresh after a game…and it also caters really well for kids.
