Lea Farm Recreation Ground

Located in the Garston District of Watford,  Lea Farm Recreation Ground is ideally located to provide the perfect environment to enjoy playing tennis with friends or family,  offering two recently refurbished tarmac tennis courts. 

Tennis is a fantastic activity to help both physical and mental wellbeing  and is a great example of an activity that can be undertaken in a way that is fun and enjoyable, whilst maintaining social distancing restrictions.

Through our partnership with the LTA we have implemented a managed online court booking system, allowing players to secure their court time for recreational play. 

Watford public tennis courts are free for all members of the community to use and access safely.  However to help manage the use and fair access for everyone who wishes to play we have introduced a simple and free booking process to allow you to reserve and book a court at any of the four park sites.

Please ensure you read and follow the simple steps below so you and others can safely play tennis on the public tennis courts.

* Please note this system has been created to help manage the use of the public tennis courts . Please only use the courts for the period you have booked and respect the self policing nature of reserving court time. You may be asked to provide proof of your court booking.

Watford Borough Council reserves the right to close tennis facilities if these measures are not respected.

Coaches are not permitted to coach on any of our Park Tennis sites without written permission from the Council.
