American Tournament - Saturday 21st May
A friendly and fun afternoon of informal doubles.

Ledbury Community Day - Saturday 4th June 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
We will have a stand in town, to promote our club and encourage people to attend our Club Open Morning two weeks later.  Could you spare an hour to cover our stand and talk to the public? We only need eight volunteers to work in pairs for one hour each, so it's not too onerous!

David Hemus
Bob Cooper has kindly informed us that his Ledbury neighbour and long time member and supporter of our club, David Hemus, has sadly passed away in South Africa. David was in his eighties and Bob remembers how he would only ever play tennis wearing whites. David was a real "old-school" gentleman, who was always immaculately dressed, both on and off court.

Premises Security
Please help to protect your club assets, by ensuring that the courts are securely locked at both gates, and the clubhouse key in particular is returned to the key safe with the combination lock scrambled and the weather shield pulled up. There have been a couple of occasions recently where this has not been done. Please don't assume that someone else has done it. If you are the last member to leave, it is your responsibility to check.

Coaching:

"She Rallies" for girls aged 5 to 12 - Free of Charge!
Is the next Emma Raducanu living in Ledbury? This Judy Murray inspired event, is specifically for girls aged between 5 and 12 years old.  The session will include fun activity circuits and some simple tennis skills.  Parents are very welcome to join in! This course will run on Saturday afternoon, 23rd April from 2.30 to 4p.m. It's free to attend, but you must book a place. It's open to all, you don't have to be a member, so please tell your friends.

Adult Beginners Coaching 
This is for those who are new to tennis, or who may be just keen to brush up on their skills.  An expert LTA Accredited+ Tennis Coach will give help and instruction on the simple techniques and tactics required to play and enjoy the game. Starting on Saturday 30 April for 3 weeks -  Three one hour sessions from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. at Ledbury. 
The course is open to non-members, so please tell your friends who might fancy giving tennis a go!
