This weekend saw the first Tennis for Kids group at Linkside LTC.

After the GB team won the Davis Cup in 2015 the LTA knew that they had to make tennis more accessible to children and Tennis for Kids was born.

Alan, our Head Coach, was one of the very first coaches in the country to be selected and trained  by the Davis Cup Legacy Team 2016 to run this programme, and he continues to run the sessions for us here.

Our first group of children were joined on court by their parents and guardians for a fun hour learning the basics of tennis.  After an hour everyone was standing like warrior and shaking hands with Mr Racket but most importantly smiling!
