First of all some exciting news! Llantrisant Tennis Club has been nominated for the Tennis Wales Awards ‘Parks and Community Site’ of the Year category! We really do punch above our weight as a parks site so fingers crossed we progress further! Secondly, our assistant coach Joanne will be moving on to pastures new in 2020 with other working commitments. Joanne has been a very loyal tennis leader and now coach over many years and we look forward to seeing her drop in to say hi! Your club sessions will remain in safe hands with our Senior Coach Chris George and our awesome Assistants. 

Kids Group Coaching programmes take a break from Sunday 8th December until Monday 6th January, but during this time we’d encourage everyone to keep practicing as much as weather permits! For Tuesday 6pm Teen and Adult Cardio Tennis, updates will be posted on the club WhatsApp group (please ask if you’d like to join) and we hope to release some discounted pay monthly options soon. 

All juniors are invited to our XMAS PARTY on Tuesday 10th December from 4.30pm where there will be some fun competitions on the court followed by some snacks in the pavilion. There is no charge for this event but please bring a (small) plate for the buffet table and remember – there’s a prize for the best dressed player! 

Good luck to anyone playing during tournaments over the winter break and from the whole coaching team we thankyou for your support of our programmes and wish you an enjoyable break. We are looking forward to an even bigger 2020 including adult beginners sessions, more children’s teams and a series of school holiday matchplay events.
