Tennis Wales Mini events aim to provide budding young tennis players across Wales with opportunities to play in local and fun competitions. All competitions start with some games and a warm-up which sets a fun, learning based tone for the competitions. Everyone goes home with a certificate, they give some small prizes out as part of the fun games and they often have some medals and trophies for girls and boys that do particularly well.

These Mini events are run by local organisers who work closely with Tennis Wales. The organisers are coaches, Tennis Wales trained competition organisers, LTA Tennis Leaders and volunteers and they will know that these competitions are very often the first time a child will have played a match.
