French Boules

We are playing French Boules at Llanmaes Village Hall on Thursday 21 June and all tennis club members are welcome to take part. This should be an ideal opportunity for new members to meet longer standing members in a fun environment. This is a "free" event but you'll need some money if you wish to adjourn to the Blacksmith's Arms for a drink afterwards!

We will meet in the car park of the Blacksmith Arms at 6:15 and walk the short distance to the Village Hall where the "pitch" is in the grounds. Don't worry that you haven't played before, because we will have an expert on hand to teach us and then referee our games. The more people who attend the longer the event will last but we should be finishing around 7:30 or just after. There is a limit on the numbers that can take part (24) so if you wish to play please contact Jackie (jacqueline-rees@sky.com) or Liz (lizparsons80@gmail.com) to reserve a place.

In the event of bad weather we will postpone to Thursday 28 June at the same time. For those who do not know the Blacksmiths Arms you will find it in the centre of Llanmaes and can satnav it at CF61 2XR.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
