C Team earn draw in first Summer League Match
The C team started the Summer League season at home with a 3:3 draw against Southwold B.
The first mixed pair of Carol Websdale and Richard Brabben had a real battle against the Southwold No 1 pair and narrowly lost out in both sets.
Second pair Desi Read and Andrew Turner soon took the first set comfortably 6:1, whilst the second set was a tighter affair which the Lowestoft pair edged 6:4.
In failing light the ladies secured their first set and the men lost out to the Southwold pair, leaving the tie drawn at 3 sets each when fading light prevented the fixture being completed.
