Linda Wins Shropshire Coach of the Year Award!

Ludlow Castle Tennis Club is delighted to announce that our Head Coach, Linda McMahon, has been named Shropshire's Coach of the Year at the prestigious LTA Awards

The accolade recognises Linda's outstanding dedication, hard work, and commitment to both our club and the wider community.

Linda has been at the heart of Ludlow Castle Tennis Club for many years, inspiring players of all ages and abilities with her passion for the sport. Whether coaching juniors taking their first steps on court, developing competitive players, or running inclusive sessions for the local community, Linda's impact is truly remarkable. Her enthusiasm, expertise, and supportive coaching style have helped so many players improve their skills and, most importantly, enjoy their tennis.

The LTA Tennis Awards celebrate the incredible work of coaches, volunteers, clubs, and officials across the country. To be recognized as Shropshire's top coach is a fantastic achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of Linda's success.

On receiving the award, Linda said:
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be named Coach of the Year for Shropshire. Tennis has always been my passion, and it's a privilege to work with so many wonderful players at Ludlow Castle Tennis Club and in the local community. This award is not just for me, but for everyone who makes our club such a special place."
