Mini Red Tennis is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on smaller courts (approx. quarter size of full court), smaller racquets and balls that bounce more slowly (75% slower than a normal tennis ball) to give children more time, that’s why we call it mini tennis, it’s just like real tennis, just made to be the right size for the children. Mini Red Tennis gives children the opportunity to develop technique, cover all the court and build rallies, then they can really have fun! The children start to learn proper warm ups, develop technique, learn how to compete and burn some energy. Here is where we see some friendships start to form, characters develop and get our first little rallies and points!
