Tennis Training

The tennis training will be carried out on the two tennis courts in the park, between the mountains on one side and the creek on the other and sourrounded by the quietness of the pine trees.

In the first three days the training will be composed by three main parts, each addressing a specific part of the game: technical, tactical and matchplay:

  • 15 minutes - warm-up
  1. 55 minutes - technical improvement: this section consists of detailed explanations in order to improve your technical skills and the quality of your shots; your current movements will be analysed and appropriate advice and suggestions will be provided.
  2. 55 minutes - tactical awareness: in this part we will practise a range of situations, where you can make use of the technical work done in the first part of the lesson.
  3. 55 minutes - matchplay: this is where everything comes together and you will have the opportunity to practise everything we previously covered. Tennis is primarily a competitive sport and we would like you to experience matchplay at your best, while most players often feel their matchplay level is much lower than their training level. Playing matches while supervised by a coach is the perfect opportunity to receive feedback and tips about strategy.

The last day will be dedicated to the end-of-holiday tournament.
