General

The LTA affiliated club has 3 floodlit courts, 2 non-floodlit courts which are all-weather, 4 grass courts during the summer season and a clubhouse with changing rooms, toilets and kitchen. 

How we are run

The club, which is funded by membership fees and fundariasing activities, is run by a committee of volunteers. An Annual General Meeting each year elects the committee.

Membership

The committee sets the rates for the membership year which starts on May 1st.

How to join

We have an online system for joining and renewing membership with online payments. Simply go to the How To Join page and select the relevant option.  If you are unable to sign-up online please contact the Membership secretary for further information.

Access

There is an entrance gate to the club grounds which is normally open during the day, if you are playing early or late in the day you may need to open/close the gate. The clubhouse is accessed through a key code and is alarmed. Full details  will be provided when you join by the Membership Secretary.

Parking

The site has ample hardstanding parking in the grounds area. Please take care when entering and leaving site and observe the site speed limit at all times.

Court bookings

There is an online booking system for members.

Social sessions

Social sessions are a great way to meet and play other members, Just turn up and mix in with other members.  We normally play doubles tennis with players of all abilities. Full details are available in the Players Area.

Coaching

During term time there are regular group lessons for juniors and adults. Individual coaching can also be arranged.

Match tennis

We enter men's, ladies' and mixed teams in the Nottinghamhire LTA league. Each team consists of 3 doubles pairs and the matches take about 3 hours to complete. Matches are normally played on a Saturday or Sunday and can be home or away. If anyone is interested in playing match tennis, please contact a team captain.

Lights and security

Please remember to keep the courts and clubhouse tidy and to turn off the lights and activate the alarm when you leave.

Flood lights for Court 3 an be purchased onine. For courts 1 and 2 there is token system. These can be purchased from committee members. If the lights have recently switched off, please wait for about 15 minutes before inserting your token as they take time to reset.

Communication

We email members (that have opted in to receive information when joining) to let them know about the latest news. There is an active Club WhatsApp Group which members are encouraged to join for all the lastest information.
