With social tennis resuming from Monday 29 March the Club’s management committee has decided to bring forward a project planned for later this year, Online Court Booking.

Following the latest lengthy lockdown we anticipate that demand for courts will be high and that there will probably be times when this will lead to a shortage causing disappointment for members who will either have had a wasted journey to the club or will have been forced to wait for a court to become free.

Online Booking will allow members to quickly and easily book a court at a time of their choosing and arrive at the club knowing you will be able to play. From a safety perspective this also helps us to manage the number of people at the club at any one time.

Of course, using the Online Booking facility is entirely voluntary and we understand that some members will want to continue to simply turn up and take their chance of getting on court. In such cases however members who have not reserved a court will be asked to vacate that court should another member who has booked it turn up.
