Winter prizes
This campaign helps to position tennis as an all year round activity. Our member survey identified that ability to play year round is a key motivator to our members so this campaign that is supported by a range of prizes in one for us!
As a member enter to win rewards by sending photos into the LTA (via the hashtag #WEATHERTHECOURT – starting on 3 December so look out for club updates! We’d love to have our own ‘weather warrior’ to spotlight members on a weekly basis and re-promote activity – this will be re-purposed on main LTA channels and push unique stories to media
Tennis has seen a strong level of interest and growth over the summer. The LTA reports that there has been:
- A 526% increase in like-for-like bookings on ClubSpark between May-Aug, compared to 2019
- 913 venues have joined LTA Rally and made courts / coaching available .
- Clubs are seeing record high pay & play numbers and new members
Marlborough mirrored this:
- We were an early adopter of LTA to open up tennis for everyone and Courts 1-2 - tripling our ‘pay and play’ revenue - 271 people started playing on the courts
- Membership is strongly up and our courts are very busy!
This campaign aims to help get people back into tennis and builds upon our success from the summer ‘Play Your Way’ campaign.
