We are conducting a short survey to test member interest in a club specific experience weekend. Please read the outline summary below and if interested, complete this mini questionnaire.
The LTA National Tennis Centre (NTC), is located in Roehampton (south west London). It provides a central training facility for the British Men’s, Women’s & Wheelchair high performance tennis teams. Many of the top British professionals use it as their training base.
It has six indoor US specification hard courts (replicating grand slam surface conditions). There are six further US specification outdoor hard courts and four Italian clay courts (as used at the Monte Carlo Masters). There are also three Padel courts and in season grass courts.
The approximate cost of such a weekend would be around £300.00. The weekend provides:
- Around eight hours of formal coaching (technique and doubles training)
- The chance to learn and play Padel
- To play in a mini (fun) tournament
- To hit on tournament quality clay courts
- A trip to Wimbledon, with free entrance to the museum and a visit to one of the main show courts
- A tour of the National Tennis centre
- A cardio tennis session
Accommodation (on site at the NTC) is provided for the Saturday night, as are all meals during the weekend. Saturday night dinner is provided in Wimbledon village.
