A little rusty? This the annual Rusty Rackets Championship is for you. Entries are now open for the Marlborough Tennis 2021 Rusty Rackets Championships.

Starting in early September, this tournament is the chance for all rusty racketeers to take your game to a whole new level. The tournament will be open to anyone who DIDN'T play in the club championships or who didn't win a match. Match play is one of the best ways to improve your tennis, in this case by playing others of a similar standard.

Events
We will be holding the following events:

• Men's singles
• Ladies' singles
• Men's Doubles: Enter either with a partner or if you would like to play but don't have a partner, put your name down to be paired with others looking for a partner.
• Ladies' Doubles: Enter either with a partner or if you would like to play but don't have a partner, put your name down to be paired with others looking for a partner.
• Mixed Doubles: Enter either with a partner or if you would like to play but don't have a partner, put your name down to be paired with others looking for a partner.

Format:
The format will be determined by the number of entries. It will be a round robin if we only have a few entries in each event but if we have a larger number we will have to make it a knockout competition but with a consolation event for first round losers

Timing:
Entries are open now and close on Thursday 2nd September. The draw will published on Sunday 5th September.

The Finals will be held on Saturday 23rd October - see you there
