MTC Quiz Team played their first round of the Melbourne Village Quiz on Friday, 11th February in a very packed MSP Function Room. This was, also, sadly their last round.

The Team of Paul Knight, Vicky Angus, Luke Sherriff and Chris Booth didn’t get off to a good start in the first round.  A Choir'd Taste took the round 26 to 10 and I believe at one stage there was 23 points difference in favour of the opposition. However, MTC put up a strong fight and looked to be taking the lead in the last round.  It was not to be though - the Team was ‘pipped at the post’ losing 108 to 103 points.  So close yet so far but the whole Team were amazing and complimented each other in their knowledge with the exception of the last question. I don’t think any of the team will ever forget the answer to -  ‘Where is the Lutine Bell situated’?  I am sure you will all now say - ‘we know’ but for those of you who don’t - Google it!!  I had (which is nothing new for me) never heard of it and the history is very interesting.

Well done Team Tennis for putting up such a good fight and thank you so much for agreeing to take part.
