On a very hot day,  18 players took to the Meldreth Courts to play the Marion Oliver fun tournament.  This very popular doubles tournament took place on Saturday 22nd June at 10am. 

Play was enthusiastic and matches very close.  The final was contested by Gill Perry partnering Gary Luxton against Pam Whalley & Richard Phillips with Pam & Richard taking the trophies & prizes of a bottle of wine each. Gill & Gary took the runners up prizes of chocolates.  The Trophies were presented by Doug Oliver husband of the late Marion Oliver to whom this tournameant is dedicated.  The Players thanked Christine Knight for organising a very successful day.
