The day  before this tournament was dreadful with heavy rain and blustery winds,  we all had our fingers crossed for the weather to improve on Saturday 1st October.  Well, the Gods were with us -  in clear blue skies the 2022 Autumn tournament got underway at 09:30.

We had 10 entrants split into two groups on each court.  Each group played 4 rounds of 5 games swapping partners with everyone in their group.  The whole tournament was very close and final winners of group 1 were Jo Kitteridge and Mark Shepherd with Janet Martin & new member Lucian de Boinville winning group 2.  These 4 went on to play the grand final.

A very exciting 5 game match saw Janet & Lucian triumph and they took away the trophies & a bottle of wine each with runners up Jo & Mark receiving chocolate bars.
