The weather was kind after the previous weeks’ storms and in sunny conditions 16 players contested the tournament.  The rounds were closely fought and the two finalists were Sheila Guitard & Gary Luxton against Ann Bannister & Neil Smith.  The match was close but Ann & Neil won the final 2-0.  The prizes were presented by the tournament organiser Christine Knight the winners receiving the two silver plate trophies & a bottle of wine each, the runners up won chocolates.
