The club held its annual croquet afternoon on Saturday 20th July, the weather was warm & sunny but a little breezy.  This very popular event was held in Kath & Ralph's lovely garden this year and they are both to be congratulated for organising and running such a successful afternoon.

After 2 rounds of very competitive play 4 players tied for the top position, so a playoff was organised between, Simon, Mike, Colin & Christine. It was very tense one hoop shoot off, with Christine at the jaws of the hoop, then Simon managed to push her ball away leaving a clear hoop for Mike to sail through & win the game.  Picture above shows Ralph presenting Mike with his prize of a bottle of wine.

There was an enjoyable tea after.
