2017 EASTER JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP
MONDAY 10TH APRIL – FRIDAY 14 APRIL 2017
Merchiston Tennis Club is offering a Junior Tennis Camp over the Easter Holiday. The camp will be run by Club Coach Jimmy Wood (Licensed LTA Level 3 Coach with First Aid & PVG) and is open to both members and non-members.
The week is broken down into 2 groups:
Group 1 - 10am – 12noon Mini Tennis Camp (Approx. 5-9 Years)
This is aimed at children of primary school age playing with soft/ low compression tennis balls
Group 2 - 1pm – 4pm Junior Tennis Camp (Approx.10-16 Years)
This is aimed at children who are 10 years or older. The level covers beginners right up to junior team players. Open also to under 10’s who are already playing to a certain level. Please contact Jimmy to discuss.
The camps are designed to give the players the chance to improve on their technical and tactical skills, and will include end of week competitions.
Suitable clothing such as waterproofs in case of rain will be required together with drinks and snacks. In the event of bad weather the clubhouse will be used for indoor games and quizzes.
Cost:
Mini Tennis (Mornings) - £45 for the week or £10 per day : Non-members - £50 or £11 per day
Junior Tennis (Afternoons) - £70 for the week or £15 per day : Non-members - £75 or £16 per day
