Mortimer Tennis Club

We are a small club that plays on the two Parish Council owned courts within the Mortimer Fairground.

Adult membership is just £50 but there are also options for families, couples and juniors over 10. 

Our season runs from April to September although we also play at some times in the winter when weather allows. Our social tennis sessions are on a Monday morning 10am - 11am, Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and Thursdays from 10am to 11am..  They are open to all members but Thursday mornings are set aside for members to be a ble to play a whole set. Most of our members use WahtsApp to ensure there is someone to play against. 

The club has previously entered teams in the Basingstoke League but are currently not managing to get enough members to play.  We would welcome anyone who wants to give competitive tennis a try as we'd very much like to start up again. The standard varies but, as always we like to enjoy the game as much as try to win. 

If you are interested in joining we suggest you come along and try us out first.  We are not able to cater for complete beginners at present.
