This is the first time we played on St Neots new Blue hard courts, which played well considering they were slightly damp from the overnight rain.  John W and Tim took the first two sets comfortably 6-1, 6-1 and Di and Carole shared a set each against the Ladies.

Then, Carole and John took a while to get going against their first pair, by which time the first set was lost, but they sailed through in the second set to make it one set all. Di and Tim, kept up their winning partnership, again winning 1 and 1, and taking their unbeaten run to four sets.

So the match finished 6 – 2 to Needingworth and finished up with a good spread of food in their pavilion.
