What can you expect?
A fun and social group coaching course which helps adult beginners to get into tennis. Tennis Xpress teaches the foundations of the game so that by the end of the six week course you will be able to enjoy fun matches with friends, family or other people that you meet.
Under the guidance of an LTA Accredited coach you will be taught new skills and shown how to serve, rally and score. By using a variety of ball types and court sizes the game will be made easy and fun, enabling you to gain confidence and enjoy mastering the basics.
Notes from the coach
Welcome to the Northern, we’ve been privileged to have players such as Andy Murray, Pete Sampras, Billie Jean King and Sue Barker enjoy playing at our club. We can’t wait for you to take your first steps to becoming a part of our club and love a sport that will last you a lifetime. This course is designed for beginners/rusty rackets will run for 6 weeks and each class will last 60 mins. Equipment can be provided. We ask that you bring some water and wear appropriate sport shoes. We advise that you arrive at least 5 mins early so you can get registered at reception and reach the courts ready to go! Refreshments are available in the clubhouse and we welcome all to use this facility. Membership for the use of the Gym is a fantastic way to utilise your time at the club. Please ask reception for some of our fantastic deals. We can't wait to see you at your new club!
