On 19th July Liz Barr passed away suddenly from a major heart attack, as a result of an undiagnosed condition, coronary heart disease. She was just 63 years old and was a loving, kind, effervescent lady who was also a supportive Mum, wife, sister and an all-round very special friend.

This afternoon, we had the most glorious weather for the Memorial American Tournament to remember Liz.  

We enjoyed some fantastic tennis, delicious food and drinks and a super selection of prizes for the raffle which with all the entry money and donations, meant we raised a whopping £1500 in total for the British Heart Foundation.

Congratulations go to Ruth Ayling and Peter Beecroft who beat Ben Hutchinson and Joanna Bedward  in the closely fought final.
