Drene Baker Drop Your Partner Tournament – in memory of our dear friend Drene.

A Ladies Drop Your Partner Tournament was held in June in memory of Drene Baker who sadly died last year after losing her fight against cancer. Drene was a much-loved, active and supportive member of the club who was a pleasure to play tennis with.

Ladies enjoyed a fun-filled morning of tennis followed by a delicious lunch. The event was made especially memorable by the arrival of the Queen and one of her corgis. Thank you to all the organisers and for all the ladies who supported the event.
